Suisspro and its member organizations:

Suissepro is the umbrella association of organizations for the protection of health and safety at work. It supports and promotes associations committed to occupational health and safety in Switzerland. Its strong point is the exchange between the various health and safety specialists.

Becoming an occupational hygienist

According to the Suitability Ordinance, as an occupational hygienist :in the following points must be met:
The basic requirement is a technical or scientific diploma from a university recognized in Switzerland.

In addition, at least two years of professional experience must be proven and further training in the field of occupational safety with the following criteria: the further training to become an occupational hygienist consists of a theoretical and a practical part of a total of two years. The theoretical part lasts at least 100 days. The minimum requirements for further training are defined in more detail in the annex to the Qualification Ordinance. This further education is only offered in Switzerland by the DAS Work and Health and a final examination at the SZAH.

The SSOH maintains two LinkedIn pages. One is a private page for members only and the other is public page for all stakeholders. The Member’s Only page is for private exchanges within the society and posting activities. The public page regularly shares content relating to OH, either originally from SSOH or its partners.
