Suissepro and its member organisations:
Suissepro is the umbrella association of organizations for the protection of health and safety at work. It supports and promotes associations committed to occupational health and safety in Switzerland. Its strong point is the exchange between the various health and safety specialists.

Becoming an occupational hygienist
According to the Ordinance on the Aptitude of Occupational Safety Specialists (Aptitude Ordinance), occupational hygienists must fulfil at least the following requirements:
- hold a technical or scientific diploma recognised in Switzerland
- have a specialised degree in the field of occupational health and safety, e.g. DAS Work and Health, or another equivalent qualification.
- have at least two years of professional experience in a discipline related to occupational health and safety.

The vision and mission of suissepro can be summarised as follows:
Vision :
Suissepro is the umbrella organisation that unites and supports the various associations that are active in the field of occupational safety and health protection or have specialised in it; suissepro contributes to the promotion of the professional fields.
Tasks:
Suissepo promotes interdisciplinarity and networking between the various players by building on their expertise and diverse competences. Suissepro supports the various associations, provides advice and takes a stand vis-à-vis the various partners. Suissepro helps to ensure the monitoring of science, regulations and the state of the art.

The SSOH is active on LinkedIn. A public group offers all interested parties the opportunity to discuss occupational hygiene and health in the workplace in general. A private group is reserved for members of the SSOH.
